Data collection

Personal data you give to us

  • Contact details

We collect contact data of Business Partner, such as first name/ last name, date of birth (as required), business e-mail address and address, telephone and fax number.

  • Financial data

We collect data necessary for payment, including invoicing purposes, including your bank details: bank account number, VAT number, credit slips.

  • Others

When communicating with Kalz GH, we collect and processes communications. During calls with our support center, live listening may be done or calls may be recorded for quality control and training purposes, which includes the usage of the recordings for the handling of claims and fraud detection purposes. Recordings are kept for a limited amount of time and automatically deleted, unless Kalz GH has a legitimate interest to keep such recording for a longer period, including for fraud investigation and legal purposes.

Processing purposes

A. Registration and account administration
Kalz GH uses account details, financial data and contact details for registrations with Kalz GH, including verification purposes to manage the business relationship with the Business Partner.

B. Customer service
uses the information provided, which may include personal data, to provide support services, such as to respond to Guests requests, questions and concerns.

C. Other activities, including marketing
When we use personal data for direct marketing messages in electronic form, Kalz GH will include a link to unsubscribe.

E. Analytics, improvement and research:
Kalz GH uses the information provided, which may include personal data, for analytical purposes. This is part of our drive to improve the Kalz GH services and enhance user experience, but can also be used for testing purposes, troubleshooting and to improve the functionality and quality of the Kalz GH online services. Kalz GH also invites Guest regularly to participate in surveys or conducts other market research.

G. Legal and compliance
In certain cases, Kalz GH needs to use the information provided, which may include personal data, to handle and resolve legal disputes, for regulatory investigations and compliance, or to enforce the agreement(s) with Guest and cooperates or solve a complaint with a booker as reasonably expected.

Data sharing

  • Sharing with third parties. We share Guest information, which may include personal data, with third parties as permitted by law and as described below. We do not sell or rent the personal data to third parties.
  • Service providers (incl. suppliers). We share personal data with third party service providers to provide our products and services, store data or conduct business on our behalf. These service providers shall process personal data only as instructed by and to provide the service to Kalz GH.
  • Payment Providers and other financial institutions. To process payments between Kalz GH and a booker and, personal data, as relevant, is shared with Payment Providers and other financial institutions.
  • Compelled disclosure. When legally required, strictly necessary for the performance of our services, in legal proceedings, or to protect our rights. group or users, we disclose personal data to law enforcement authorities, investigative organizations, or other group members.
  • Sharing and disclosure of aggregated data: we may share information in aggregate form and/or in a form which does not enable the recipient of such information to identify you, with third parties, for example for industry analysis and demographic profiling.

International data transfers

The transmission of personal data as described in this Privacy Statement may include overseas transfers of personal data to countries whose data protection laws are not as comprehensive as those of the countries within the European Union. Where required by European law, we shall only transfer personal data to recipients offering an adequate level of data protection. In these situations, as may be required, we make contractual arrangements to ensure that your personal data is still protected in line with European standards. In accordance with European data protection laws, Kalz GH observes reasonable procedures to prevent unauthorised access to, and the misuse of, information including personal data.

We use appropriate business systems and procedures to protect and safeguard information including personal data. We also use security procedures and technical and physical restrictions for accessing and using the personal data on our servers. Only authorised personnel are permitted to access personal data in the course of their work.

Data retention

We will retain personal data for as long as we deem it necessary to manage the business relationship with a Guest, to provide the Kalz GH services to a Business Partner, to comply with applicable laws (including those regarding document retention), resolve disputes with any parties and otherwise as necessary to allow Kalz GH to conduct its business. All personal data we retain will be subject to this Privacy Statement and our internal retention guidelines. If you have a question about a specific retention period for certain types of personal data we process about you, please contact us via the contact details included below.

Your choices and rights

We want you to be in control of how your personal data is used by us. You can do this in the following ways:

  • you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • you can inform us of any changes to your personal data, or you can ask us to correct any of the personal data we hold about you;
  • in certain situations, you can ask us to erase, block or restrict the personal data we hold about you, or object to particular ways in which we are using your personal data; and
  • in certain situations, you can also ask us to send the personal data you have given us to a third party.

Where we are using your personal data on the basis of your consent, you are entitled to withdraw that consent at any time subject to applicable law. Moreover, where we process your personal data based on legitimate interest or the public interest, you have the right to object at any time to that use of your personal data subject to applicable law.

We rely on you to ensure that your personal data is complete, accurate and current. Please do inform us promptly of any changes to or inaccuracies of to your personal data by contacting us.

If you have questions or concerns about our processing of your personal data or you want to exercise any of your rights you have under this Privacy Statement, please contact our data protection officer via contact@KalzGH. All privacy related questions and complaints reported to Kalz GH will be investigated. Kalz GH will attempt to resolve complaints and questions in line with internal policies. You may also contact your local data protection authority with questions and complaints.

Changes to the Privacy Statement

Just as our business changes constantly, this Privacy Statement may also change. If we make material changes or changes that will have an impact on you (e.g., when we start processing your personal data for other purposes than set out above), we will contact you prior to commencing that processing.


We provide safe services at the reception free of charge. The Hotel will not be held responsible for any loss is case you don’t use the safe at the reception for any valuable goods.

One extra bed can be added to the room for children up to 12 years old at 15$ for adult at 25$ and a crib can be added to the room for children up to 2 years old for a cost of 10$.
Some types of rooms can have extra person. Ask reception for more information on the cost.

Other informations

Guest requirements: Guests need to provide a phone number and an email to book.
Minimum Age to book a room is 18 years of age.
No curfew
Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and at the restaurant or any other public facilities.
Fill out and sign the check list of items in rooms upon your arrival with a Guesthouse employee is required.
Laundry and ironing services are available for a fee. Laundry forms are found on the basket provided in all rooms.
Room service is available for a fee.
On arrival guests pay a damage deposit of: US$100(by cash), this will be returned the day of check out

In the event of a power cut at night, the generator runs until 3:00 am and comes on at 5:00 am. The generator is available during the day in case of power failure.
Tea, coffee and water are complementary in room type Deluxe and Suite once a day for the period of stay and only for the 1st day for Standard rooms. More than once per day for Deluxe and Suite and for the rest of the stay for Standard rooms will be subject to a charge.
The bar and appetizers in the room are chargeable. See prices on the fridge.
We recommend you to leave your car keys at the reception to avoid being disturbed in case of need of movements of vehicles in the car park.
A multipurpose room is available for your meetings or other receptions of less than 60 people. See reception for more information.
We do not accept animals on the property.
The checkout is done no later than 12:00 pm in the afternoon. Late checkout and early check in can be provided upon availability for a fee of $ 20 until 16:00. After 16:00 for late checkout, you will be charged the price of a night.


For bank transfer payment, check-in will be done only when payment is complete in our books.
Check-in time is at 12:00 PM
Check-out time is at 2:00 PM
Reception is available from 07:00 AM to Mid night
Breakfast is served from 07:00 AM to 11:00 AM everyday at the Kalz Restaurant in the paillote.
Lunch is served from 13:00 to 15:30 under pre order the day before or the same day at 10:00 AM the latest. Restaurant menu are provided in the rooms.
The kitchen is closed after 15:30. There is a Mr. Delivery menu for your food orders at night until 22:00.
Room cleaning takes place every Monday, Thursday and Saturday between 07:00 and 14:00. For simple rooms. Cleaning outside of those days of the week for Simple room types is possible for a fee.
The change of sheets/towels is done on cleaning days only for Simple room types. If you need to change linens outside of Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, it possible for a fee.
An equipped kitchen is available upon fissionability if you want to cook your own food for a fee.

Internet, Parking, Pets & Gun

WiFi is available in all areas and charges apply for some room types.
Free private parking is available on site upon availability.

Pets and Gun are not allowed.

Cancellation and pre-payment policies

Guest can cancel free of charge until 1 day before arrival
Guest is charged 50% of the total price for cancellation within 1 day before arrival.

Guest is charged 100% of the total price for a no show

No prepayment is required before the check-in date.

You do not require prepayment: in case of cancellation or no show you take care of collecting your cancellation/no show fee directly from the guest.
Non-refundable price :


  • The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel at any time.
  • The guest will be charged a prepayment of the total price at any time.

You will accept prepayment by: Credit card or bank transfer

Cancellation exceptions

  • Grace Period: No fees charged for bookings cancelled within 1 hours of booking
  • Advance Cancellation: No fees charged for bookings cancelled 4 weeks before arrival

Refund policy

Refund is possible through the same type of payment used for payment. In case of Bank transfer, refund will be done through the bank transfer and all banking charges will be supported by the Guest. The same for credit card payment. In case of a dispute, please note that refund is made after all investigations have been made and after all facts are proven for a refund. We refund a reservation payment when an act of god can be proven by a Guest. When accepted, refund is made within 7 business working days for bank transfer and credit payments. In case of a cash transaction, refund is made within 3 working business days.
